Hajime Sorayama x OriginalFake KAWS No Future Companion Silver
A limited release of 500 pieces combining Sorayama's 'No Future' concept with KAWS's venerable Companion. Available at KAWSONE.com for $980.
I mean I guess I would pay $1000 for like a posable Darth Vader or Boba Fett cast in silver with a little steampunk vibe, so I shouldn't find it surprising that KAWS's legion of fans have these things flying off the shelves. With that said, I'd have that dough earmarked for something a little more here-and-nowish in this economy, but hey, what the hell do I know?

Sweet - my first every TV spot! The interviewer may not have gotten my name exactly right (it's Waks like "wax") but it was still lots of fun and I've already gotten some great feedback on it. Here goes - let me know what you think:

Obey Fall 2009 Lookbook
We present you a first look at the Obey Fall 2009 Collection Lookbook. We have to say that we like a lot the direction of the brand. We see a lot of solid cut-and-sew with quite some outdoors inspiration, that is directly reflected in the lookbook style. Obey seems to take a more high end route in the future, at least in terms of look. Overall subtle, the collection seems to be easy to wear and match.
Take a look at the complete Obey Fall 2009 Collection Lookbook after the jump.
