Sean Miller name drops Flavour...

above: Sean Miller

Cut & SHOW recently caught up with Sean Miller of Feedback Management Inc.

here is a selection of the interview:

Q: You travel a ton -- what cities are fashion-forward to you? Are there any surprise candidates, like ones in the middle of nowhere?

SM: Yeah! The one I always say is Peterborough, Ontario. The guys out there actually create a pretty cool culture. Mike Watt and his fiancee own three stores: Plush, Flavor and SOS (Save Our Souls), which is a shoe shop. Their involvement with the community, their product offering, their great customer service...and [Watt] always goes to Toronto to bring the stuff he really likes to the market out [in Peterborough]. Everyone knows the brands they're doing, and I think they're doing it quite well. That's good retail right there. If you come in like that, start these secondary markets and say, hey, I know what's cool and I like what's going on here -- how can I translate that to the community?
