Otonabee Poker-Run!!

Our first longboard event of the season, the Otonabee Poker-Run,
was a huge hit yesterday. Kudos to all the riders that came out and
spread the stoke. We raised $150 for the Rotary Greenway Trail and
shredded some serious gnar doing it. Everyone walked away with some
sweet Sector 9 shwag, and few stood out as champs of the mini-comps:

Cody Hughes killed the manual contest with 243 ft!
Jim Curtis reclaimed his title with the Best Slide
Peter Dalrymple-Fraser stuck the longest slide of the day at 22ft
Ryan VanGerven sped through the slalom course, and
Nik Oravec snagged the best poker hand with 4 pretty ladies!



It was a radical day for everyone.
Big ups to Sector 9 & Peterborough Longboarding for co-hosting
the event with us, and to all the riders that came out.

Koty Kolter - The Pen is Mighter than The Sword

After rocking a slew of opening acts (Karl Wolf, Ill Bill, Kurupt, Joe Budden & Red Man) with his "S'our City" partner Trey57, local rapper Koty Kolter releases his first full length album "The Pen is Mightier than the Sword". Quickly proving his talents, not only to get his name on almost every big name rap bill in town, but to create well written, poignant & gritty rap songs. With excellent production done by Psych Ward's JNYCE - the quality stands next to any major release with some amazing & truly dope beats. The album also features verses from JAches, Trey57 & Psych Ward's JNYC & Shallow Pockets.

Flavour has joined forces with Peterborough Longboarding & Sector 9 to bring you:

The River Cross Poker Run!

Come one and all, longboards and skateboards.

Any board with trucks and wheels is welcome by us.

There will be free food and hydration as well!

Team registration starts at 10:30 and goes to 12noon @ FLAVOUR

The fun begins at High Noon and will run until 2 or 3pm.

ya ya'll! Flavour underwent some reno-911 over the weekend... guys stuff is now right up front and the women get a fancy / fresh new look at the back. the shoe wall is extended and now allows us to get MORE shoes up and in your face!! c'mon in and check it.
