VF Corp’s premium jeans brand Seven For All Mankind has a new president. Barry Miguel fills a space that went unfilled since it was vacated by Topher Gaylord, who left for Mountain Hardwear, more than a year ago.

Miguel will be based in Los Angeles and will report to VF Contemporary Brands president Susan Kellogg.

“I’m thrilled that an executive of Barry’s caliber will be joining our team,” commented Kellogg in a statement. “Barry is a seasoned leader and strategist in growing high profile contemporary brands. He brings a broad base of skills and will be a tremendous asset to the Seven For All Mankind brand as we enter our next stage of growth.”

Miguel has held positions at many apparel companies, including Ermenegildo Zegna, Versace, Marc by Marc Jacobs Men’s and Zac Posen. He started his career at the San Francisco menswear retailer Wilkes Bashford. He was most recently CEO of the women’s wear company Tracy Reese.

Seven For All Mankind was founded in 2000 in Los Angeles. VF Corp. acquired the brand in 2007 for $775 million.
